Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains what information SSFootballz ("SSFootballz", "we", "us") collects through this website, why, on what legal basis, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and simple on purpose.

1. Who is responsible

SSFootballz is responsible for the personal data collected through this website (the "controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR). You can reach us at stevan.stanojevic@smrtstats.com.

2. What this website is

This website is a presentation of a football analytics product. We use it to show what the product does and to let interested people ask for a demo or a meeting.

3. What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in a form or contact us, you choose what to send. This usually includes your name, work email, phone number (optional), organisation, role and a short message. You do not have to send it.

Technical information. When you visit, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you open and the time. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.

Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how the website is used. See section 5.

We do not ask for sensitive data such as health information, payment card details or government ID numbers. Please do not send them to us.

4. Why we use it and our legal basis

  • To reply to you and arrange a meeting or demo, using the details you send us. Legal basis: steps you asked for before a possible agreement, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

  • To run and protect the website, using technical information. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).

  • To understand how the website is used, with Google Analytics. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time.

We do not sell your data, rent it or use it for advertising. We do not make automated decisions about you.

5. Google Analytics

If you consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). It uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how long you stay, the website that sent you here, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country or city). Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses.

We use this information only in combined form, to see which pages are useful and to improve the website. We do not use it to identify you, and we have not enabled advertising features.

Google may process this data on servers outside the European Union, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and Google also uses the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: Google Privacy Policy and how Google Analytics safeguards data.

Analytics cookies are set only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics does not set cookies. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the website or by deleting cookies in your browser.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. We use:

  • Necessary cookies and storage, for example to remember your cookie choice. These do not need consent, because the website cannot work properly without them.

  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics (for example _ga and _ga_SW879N07L9). They are used only with your consent and usually last up to 2 years, unless you delete them earlier.

Some content, such as fonts or a WhatsApp link, may come from other companies. When your browser loads it, that company can see technical information such as your IP address.

7. Who can see your data

Your details are seen only by the team members who need them. We use trusted service providers who process data for us and only on our instructions: Framer (website hosting), Google (analytics, form storage, email and calendar scheduling). If you contact us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp's own privacy policy applies. We do not share your details with anyone else, except when the law requires it.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep it

We keep the details you send us only as long as needed to answer you and follow up on the meeting or demo, and for a reasonable time afterwards (normally no longer than 24 months). After that we delete them or make them anonymous, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics settings and then deleted automatically.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No website or internet connection is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:

  • ask what data we hold about you and get a copy;

  • correct it if it is wrong;

  • have it deleted;

  • limit how we use it, or object to our use based on legitimate interest;

  • receive it in a common format (data portability);

  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before you withdrew it.

Write to stevan.stanojevic@smrtstats.com and tell us what you need. We will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live or work.

12. Children

This website is for professionals and is not meant for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, please tell us and we will delete it.

13. Other websites

The website may link to other websites, such as WhatsApp. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

14. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
